Millpool Methodist Church is nestled into a hamlet on Bodmin Moor, just off the A30, four miles north of Bodmin.
Folk at Millpool are forward looking, always willing to try new ideas and Millpool is now one of the very few chapels in existence on the moor!
Millpool have been very busy in the last two years, both raising the funds and transforming the Chapel and Community Room. Pews have been removed and chairs purchased, both rooms redecorated, lights up-cycled, carpets removed in the chapel and Community Room and replaced by either rejuvenating the existing wood floor or with Karndean flooring. The Chapel and Community Room now have a new vibrant feel.
Millpool Kidz Club meet on the first Sunday of the month and all children are very welcome. Little Robins Baby Group meet on a Monday and Pilates on a Wednesday. Also a monthly village Coffee, Cake and Chat morning and a monthly Book Club.
Millpool has a strong tradition of music. The Millpool Chorale, a group of approximately 20 ladies regularly perform at various events around the area. Monday night is Practice Night. To join or book the chorale please call Julia on 01208 821216.
Various events are widely published in The Cardinham and Millpool Community Bi-Monthly Magazine, or on local notice boards.
We are very pleased to support many charities throughout the year. These include Bodmin Foodbank, All We Can, Action for Children, Children's Hospice South West, Cornwall Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Care along with many other small donations.
Sadly most events are on hold at the moment due to Covid 19.
Sunday Service is held at 11 am (Occasionally this may be Café Church in The Community Room).
Please note: Currently on the third Sunday of the month the service is at 3pm.
